A degree in communications can be used in a lot of different ways. Over the years, I have worked to gain experience and continue to develop versatile skills that can be displayed in a variety of roles. It gives me great satisfaction to learn something new and be given a challenge to work to overcome. As displayed on my resume, I have developed a passion and defined my future centered around my creative side. Whether it’s a video, a post on social media, or an image, I look to generate engagement and to tell a story through my work.

  

My name is Teigan Schrecengost and I am a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania x2. I have a Bachelors in Communications Media with a double emphasis in Media Production and Media Marketing and a Masters in Strategic Communications.

Throughout my career, I have worked with renowned organizations such as the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Hurricanes, North Carolina State University, Ladies Professional Golf Association, and Peter Millar. These experiences have honed my skills in content creation, social media management, videography, photography, graphic design, branding, and live TV production. My ability to craft compelling narratives and engaging visual content has played a key role in enhancing audience engagement across various platforms.

In my role as a Digital Content Producer at the Ladies Professional Golf Association, I managed social media platforms, conceptualized and produced video content, and maintained content calendars to drive engagement. At Peter Millar, I have been instrumental in capturing real-time moments and creating dynamic social media content with quick turnaround times. Additionally, my experience in live sports production has equipped me with the ability to work efficiently under pressure, ensuring seamless broadcasts and in-house productions.

I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and possess strong project management skills, allowing me to oversee creative projects from concept to execution. My passion for storytelling, combined with my technical expertise, makes me a strong candidate for this role.
